Why We Built This

Most forex content for Indian traders is either too basic ("what is a pip?") or aimed at professional quant funds. We built FX Forecast India for the middle — experienced retail traders and NRI remittance senders who want data-backed analysis without the noise. We focus on three instruments that matter most to this audience: USD/INR, EUR/USD and MCX Gold.

How Our Forecasts Work

We use a data-first approach:

1. Pull 90 days of daily close data from Yahoo Finance (yfinance)
2. Compute RSI(14), MACD(12/26/9), EMA20, EMA50, ATR(14)
3. Apply a 2-of-3 vote system to determine bias (RSI, MACD direction, EMA crossover)
4. Estimate weekly range using ATR × 1.2
5. Generate narrative text using DeepSeek AI, instructed to incorporate the technical signals and relevant macro events for the week

Forecasts are published to Cloudflare Pages automatically via a scheduled script. No human editing required — though we review key forecasts manually when major events are scheduled.
